All classes took a diagnostic test. There will be time in class tomorrow to finish the test before we correct it.
8th grade Math Connects, also had a Problem- Solving Strategies worksheet for tonight’s homework. This will be corrected and collected tomorrow.

Welcome to Mrs. Hume’s class. Math is the language and science of patterns and I hope that by the end of our year together you will see math in that light as well.
Items needed for 8th grade math class:
~3 ring binder (1.5-2 inches)
~5 dividers
~loose leaf paper
~pencils
~erasers
~colored pencils
optional items: (I have some when needed, but some kids like to have their own)
ruler
protractor
compass
scientific calculator (not needed very often)
scissors
pens
